Visions about the future of Islaam-Shaykh ‘Abdul-’Azeez ibn Baaz

Question: O eminent shaykh! How do see the future of the Religion of Islaam amongst the various ideologies that stand up in hostility in direct confrontation to it?
Response: By the permission of Allah, I see that Islaam will be victorious over all of those destructive ideologies and philosophical paths that have plagued the world in our present time and that everything that has been directed towards Islaam by way of plotting to tarnish its image and to prevent it from having dominance in the earth will fall back on the perpetrators. This is due to the fact that Allah, (the Al-Mighty), has taken it upon Himself to protect and preserve the Glorious Qur‘an which serves as the ‘firm foundation’ for the Religion of Islaam.
Allah, (may He be glorified) says in the Qur‘an:

{Indeed, it is We Who have sent down (this Revelation) as ‘the Reminder’ and verily, it is We Who shall surely protect it from corruption.} [Surah al-Hijr: 9]

In addition, Allah, (to Whom all praise and glory belongs), has prepared certain people as helpers of His Religion (and has equipped them for this task).
The Prophet, (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

There will always remain a group from my Ummah victorious and steadfast upon the truth. They will not be harmed by those who forsake them up until the affair of Allah comes

Or in another narration:

They will not be harmed by those who oppose them up until the Hour is established

Also, that which serves as a glad tiding of what we have already mentioned is the spread of movements that call for adherence to ‘the Book’ & ‘the Sunnah’ both in and outside of the ‘Islamic World’. Not to mention, the very promoters of those philosophical ideologies and theoretical schools of thought, from Communism to Capitalism etc that are generally accepted nowadays, their very own advocators, by first-hand experience, have admitted both to their failure and also to the futility of the very principles and foundations upon which they were based. They have also bore witness to the fact that those philosophical methodologies have not brought about any happiness to humanity. In-fact, in reality, they have only proven to be detrimental to the Religion, morality and the financial well-being of mankind (i.e., their economies). This is due to the fact that they are merely the product ‘human intellect’ which is naturally prone to deficiency, short-sightedness, ignorance and following its own whims and desires; just as Allah states:

{And if it, (the Qur‘an), was from other than Allah, then mankind would have surely found much contradiction within it.} [Surah an-Nisaa’: 82]

In-fact, people are now beginning to turn left and right in search of a correct minhaaj, (a path), which has the ability to save them from destruction or pull them out of the big hole that they have dug for themselves which has become the very source of every aspect of human life.
Indeed, it is the Religion of Islaam, alone, that possesses the true capability of saving humanity from those destructive elements; and mankind will come to realise this reality sooner or later by the permission of Allah. Allah mentions that:

{As for the foam, then it passes away as scum upon the banks. Whereas that which is of benefit to mankind, then it remains on the earth. See how Allah makes (the truth clear by) parables.} [Surah ar-Ra’d: 17]

Incidentally, that which we are referring to here is the pure authentic Islaam which is free from shirk and religious innovations; that (Islaam) which the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), his Companions and the righteous Muslims of the earliest generations that came after him were upon such that they became successful and victorious, conquering lands, thereby leading the people to the ‘Path of Guidance’ and thus onto the ‘shores of safety’.

السؤال:سماحة الشيخ : كيف ترون مستقبل الإسلام أمام التيارات والأيديولوجيات والمذاهب المختلفة التي تناصبه العداء

الجواب:

أرى أن الإسلام سوف ينتصر بإذن الله على تلك التيارات والنحل الزائفة التي ابتلي بها العالم في عصرنا الحاضر ، وأن كل ما يوجه إلى الإسلام من عداء ماكر للنيل منه وإزاحته عن قيادة العالم سوف يعود في النهاية بإذن الله تعالى على نحور أصحابه ، وذلك أن الله جل شأنه قد تكفل بحفظ القرآن الكريم الذي هو الأساس العظيم للإسلام ، حيث يقول سبحانه :

﴿إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ﴾ سورة الحجر الآية 9

وقد هيأ الله سبحانه وله الحمد والمنة لدينه أنصارا ، كما قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: (لاتزال طائفة من أمتي على الحق منصورة لا يضرهم من خذلهم حتى يأتي أمر الله) وفي رواية أخرى : (لايضرهم من خالفهم حتى تقوم الساعة) ومما يبشر بما ذكرنا ما انتشر في العالم الإسلامي وغيره من الحركات التي توصي باتباع الكتاب والسنة والسير عليهما . ثم إن تلك المبادئ والمذاهب من شيوعية ورأسمالية غربية وغيرها من المذاهب التي يروج لها اليوم أصحابها قد ثبت بالتجربة زيفها وفشلها ، وأنها لا تسعد البشرية بل تضرها في دينها وأخلاقها واقتصادها ، حيث إنها من صنع البشر الذي طبيعته القصور والجهل والهوى ، كما قال تعالى:

﴿وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ اخْتِلافًا كَثِيرًا﴾ سورة النساء الآية 82

وقد بدأت البشرية تتلفت يمنة ويسرة علها تجد منهجا صالحا ينقذها من الهاوية التي تردت فيها جميع شؤون حياتها ، والإسلام وحده هو القادر على إنقاذ البشرية من تلك المهالك ، وستكتشف البشرية بإذن الله تلك الحقيقة إن عاجلا أو آجلا ، كما قال الله تعالى :

﴿فَأَمَّا الزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَاءً وَأَمَّا مَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ﴾ سورة الرعد الآية 17،

وكلامنا هذا هو في الإسلام النقي من شوائب الشرك والبدع الذي أخذ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأصحابه والسلف الصالح من بعده فأفلحوا ونجحوا وفتحوا البلاد وقادوا العباد إلى سبيل الرشاد وشاطئ السلامة . والله الموفق.
